In this picture, as well as the two other quite similar in the nature, you should try to add more depth. You took this picture as it was a potrait (like you did with your dogs). That works when you have an object to work with, like a person or a dog.
I dont know if it was possible to get further lower with your camera placement here. Lets say it was, then you could try to exclude some of the view. Using depth and contrast from the still water on the top there, and all the way down to that beautifull whiteish, which looks a little abstract.
With all respect you have the copyright and Im not claiming anything, and the file is a hidden upload, that being said I made a image trying to explain what Im saying. All that yellow part I marked isnt really giving the image anything positive, but the green part is very nice. Here you could zoom and make a hole other view. The picture link [link]
This is just my point of view though, there are probably much better tips. Im just an amateur as well.

Thank you very much that is really very useful info and i really appreciate you taking the time to help, i think this was taken with my old 2mp samsung camara and i just point and click, but now i'm getting more interested and am eager to learn more :D

I agree with Espo...

Maybe try adding a bit more contrast or saturation to the photo? Just a touch more...

I still like it though. :-D Solid composition... in my opinion.
